I TOOK A SOLO TRIP TO GHANA

 If younger Debbie could see me now, she'd be staring in awe. No, we did not become the first female president of Nigeria (yet) and no we did become a neurosurgeon we thought we'd be (Thank you Gifted Hands for the trauma LOL).  However, we found ourself and we know what makes us happy. When I was much younger, I spent a reasonable amount of time by myself or buried in a book when I wasn't in school or church. Circumstances at the time didn't give me much of a choice. This made it challenging for me when I grew older to socialize, explore or know if I enjoyed time with myself because I wanted to or because I had no choice. As I got older, I made a couple of friends and developed new interests but I realised that as much as I loved my chosen company, I genuinely enjoyed having time with myself.
